Tour style: Adventure. Take a journey through this ancient land, travelling by train, bus, felucca sailboat & hydrofoil to reveal the wonderfully diverse country that is Egypt. Between the many highlights, including tours of Giza and Luxor and climbing Mount Sinai, there is also time to relax sailing the Nile on board traditional feluccas and by the warm waters of the Red Sea.

Day 1
Arrive Cairo.
Day 2
Guided visit of the Pyramids & Sphinx. Overnight train to Aswan.
Days 3 & 4
Explore the city of Aswan and excursion to Abu Simbel..
Days 5 - 7
Enjoy a traditional felucca cruise on the Nile to from Aswan to Edfu.
Day 8
Travel to Luxor by bus.
Day 9
Donkey ride to Valley of the Kings before travelling to the Red Sea resort of Hurghada.
Days 10 & 11
Cross the Red Sea by Hydrofoil to Dahab for some further relaxation and amazing snorkelling.
Days 12-14
Sinai Trek. Accompanied by local Bedouin, trek through Egypt’s most stunning scenery.
Day 15
Early morning climb of Mt. Sinai to enjoy sunrise at the summit. Return to Cairo.
Day 16
Tour ends after breakfast.
Accommodation
9 nights’ simple hotels, 3 nights on board a felucca, 2 nights’ desert camping & 1 night on a seater train.
