Day 1 Sandakan to Sukau
Pick-up from Sandakan airport and transfer to the
Gomantong Caves, home to thousands of swiftlets
and bats, before continuing on to your jungle lodge in
Sukau. After lunch, take a boat trip on the Menanggul
River and look out for proboscis monkeys and other
wildlife. Return to the lodge for dinner.
Day 2 Sukau to Sandakan
After breakfast drive to the famous Sepilok Rehabilitation
Centre where orphaned orangutans are prepared for
release back into the wild. Enjoy lunch before returning to
the airport for your onward flight.

Basic jungle lodge in Sukau.
