Day 1
Arrive Lima.
Days 2 - 4
Fly to Puno. Explore Uros & Taquile Islands on Lake Titicaca and immerse yourself in Peruvian rural life with a homestay in a small village.
Day 5
Enjoy spectacular views travelling through the Altiplano to Cusco.
Day 6
Travel through the Sacred Valley and visit Pisac archeological site. Continue to the Inca town of Ollantaytambo.
Days 7 - 10
Spectacular scenery & fascinating ruins fill every day whilst hiking the Inca Trail. On final day witness sunrise over Machu Picchu from the Sun Gate. Return to Cusco by train.
Day 11
Enjoy the relaxed colonial atmosphere, museums & markets in Cusco.
Days 12 - 14
Fly to Puerto Maldonado deep in the Amazon Jungle. Travel by motorized canoe to Tambopata Rainforest area & explore the jungle with local guides before flying to Lima.
Day 15
Depart Lima

8 night's simple hotels, 3 night's camping, 2 night's jungle lodge, 1 night homestay.

Permits to hike the Inca Trail sell out many months in advance we therefore advise clients to book as early as possible to avoid disappointment.
To make a booking Trailfinders will require the following information from all clients: Full name, date of birth, nationality, passport number & date of expiry.
The Inca Trail is usually closed during February each year for maintenance. Alternative hiking routes are available, ask your Trailfinders consultant for details.
