Tour style: Small Group Adventure Tour. Tracking gorillas through misty, seemingly impenetrable forests can be exhausting work, however the minute you encounter these magnificent primates this will all be forgotten. They will instantly capture your full attention with their acrobatic antics and cacophony of grunts, screeches and chest beating.

Day 1
Transfer from Kigali airport to the hotel. If time permits, why not take a tour of the fascinating and moving Gisozi genocide memorial.
Day 2
Early morning departure for Ruhengeri, the main base town for gorilla trekking. Continue onto the Parc National des Volcans and after a briefing on gorilla etiquette enter the forest to track the gorillas. The trekking can be long and tiring but as soon as you see these amazing primates in their natural habitat it will have been worthwhile. Once the gorillas have been located you will spend an hour in their company. In the afternoon, return to the camp and if time permits visit the beautiful twin lakes of Bulera and Ruhondo.
Day 3
After breakfast, enjoy the scenic transfer back to Kigali to connect with your onward arrangements (approx arrival time 11am).
