Day 1 Johannesburg to Dullstroom
Depart from Johannesburg airport, leave the Highveld plateau behind you and enjoy the picturesque scenery en route to Dullstroom.
Day 2 Dullstroom
Spend a day exploring this charming village, now famous for its fly fishing or discover the walking trails around the dams and enjoy the fine food this delightful village has to offer.
Day 3 Dullstroom to Hazyview
Enjoy the scenery as you head towards Hazyview, a small farming town surrounded by lush, tropical, banana plantations and bordering the Kruger National Park.
Day 4 Hazyview
Hazyview is a great base for exploring the Blyde River Canyon. The spectacular mountain views, panoramic passes, valleys, rivers, waterfalls and forests draw visitors to this scenic part of South Africa. Be sure not to miss the truly magnificent view from ‘God’s Window’ at the southern tip of Blyde River Canyon Reserve.
Day 5 Hazyview to Kruger Mpumalanga
Spend some more time exploring this exceptional area. Bird watching, horse riding and fishing in rivers that were once used for panning for gold are just a few of the activities on offer. Take a short trip to visit Pilgrim’s Rest, one of the gold rush towns, before driving onto Kruger Mpumalanga Airport to drop off the car.
