Day 1 Bangkok to the River Kwai
Visit a colourful floating market before a ride on the infamous River Kwai railway and a visit to the War Museum. Afternoon at leisure.
Day 2 Kanchanaburi to Ayutthaya
Spend the afternoon touring the magnificent, ancient ruins of this World Heritage Site, Siam’s former capital.
Day 3 Ayutthaya to Bangkok
An early morning market visit to buy food for the monks’ alms rounds is followed by a boat ride to the Royal Summer Palace. Return to Bangkok about midday.
